Extrutech Chair Rail, Item # WM390 for use as a wainscoting cap or decorative molding is made of an exterior grade, hard, solid, dense, engineered polymer, with a smooth surface of a standard chair rail profile. Is 2 9/16" deep by 1 3/16" thick. To cap 1/2" thick wall panels with its 3/8" thick by 1/2" wide cap area. Cut with standard power saws use a fine toothed blade. Fasten with finish nails, trim screws 16"-24" OC. or construction adhesive. Non-painted in white or beige, ready for an acrylic latex based paint, after cleaned and prepped; available in 12'-18' foot lengths, with a weight of 0.4 lbs per foot.
